CRAIG BLACKMON
MARC HOLMES

I earned my B.A. in Economics with academic honors from the University of Washington in 1996 and my J.D. cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2006. In law school I focused on and excelled in real estate related courses such as Property, Land Use Regulation, Construction Law, Advanced Real Estate, and Real Estate Drafting.  I also interned for a superior court judge, competed in moot court, and participated in a community development legal clinic. As a second year student, I successfully brought a lawsuit against a defendant who was represented by legal counsel to a state-wide industry lobby group.

My professional background prior to and during law school includes more than eight years in sales, land/home development, and mortgage lending. This experience has provided me with a keen understanding of the issues faced by buyers and sellers of real estate and the challenges involved in developing vacant land into a finished home. Currently, I am a volunteer attorney for the Housing Justice Project of King County providing free legal counsel to low-income tenants facing eviction from their homes.

So, whether you are purchasing your first home, selling your tenth, or trying to resolve a dispute with a neighbor, I look forward to the opportunity to help you through the process.
